Dan Bawden, CAPS, CGP, CGR, GMB is an NAHB member and a remodeler/builder owner of Legal Eagle Contractors, Co., in Houston, Texas. •In 2017, the same year he served as NAHB Remodelers Chair, Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston and the surrounding areas - again. This was his 5th major large-scale hurricane, tropical storm and flooding event, with 3 occurring in just the last two years. Dan has published articles for, and advised many of his fellow builders and remodelers in the Greater Houston area, about coping with the massive influx of calls that come in to small construction businesses during a natural disaster.
