Gail Stocks is NAHB's Educator of the year 2022! She is founder and principal of EZ Way To Stay in Montclair, NJ, is an occupational therapist and accessibility specialist. She earned her OT doctorate from Touro University and a Master's degree from NYU. She has decades of experience working with clients across the spectrum of ages and abilities. Gail has been designated a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is an approved instructor by NAHB for their CAPS and Universal Design Essentials Courses. She received her Executive Certificate in Home Modification administered by the National Resource Center on Supportive Housing and Home Modification from the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. Gail is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association with a designation in Home Modifications, the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy with a designation in pediatrics, and the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance. She is a volunteer for Rebuilding Together , and is NJ AARP's Lead HomeFit presenter as well as member of its Speakers Bureau. She is a guest lecturer in the Occupational Therapy Department of Touro University and Monmouth University and is available for speaking engagements through virtual and in-person formats.
