The National Green Building Standard (NGBS) is the first green building standard developed by ICC and ASHRAE, and approved by ANSI, that offers a flexible, rigorous and affordable rating system for multifamily residential buildings. Lisa M. Stephens, is President of Saigebrook Development, a certified WBE and Texas HUB real estate development firm. She has over 15 years of experience in developing, financing and operating affordable housing. She is also the founding member and President of the Texas Coalition of Affordable Developers. Lisa was named by Affordable Housing Finance magazine as one of twelve 2009 Young Leaders; is an NGBS Green Advisory Group member, and a 2016 and 2017 Home Innovation NGBS Green Partner of Excellence.

Kyle Abney, is the founder of Abney & Abney Green Solutions and is a Accredited NGBS Green Master Verifier, and LEED Accredited Professional. Kyle has first-hand experience with multiple green building certifications for both commercial and residential construction •Recognized expert on sustainable development and cited in various publications, including the Palm Beach Post, Miami Herald, Orlando Sentinel and featured on National Public Radio (NPR). He is active in the Florida Green Building Coalition and USGBC Florida Chapter where he serves as the current Vice-Chair.
