By completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify access points and marketing opportunities within targeted AIP market segments.
- Explain how allied professionals can collaborate effectively to serve a targeted AIP market.
- Identify common challenges of functioning in a real-world environment for the AIP population.
- Enhance the client consulting process with effective needs assessment and communication techniques.
NAHB Credit: This course is required for the NAHB Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation

Chris Moore is a certified aging in place specialist (CAPS), a certified environmental access consultant (CEAC), a senior home safety specialist (SHSS) and a certified graduate remodeler (CGR). He holds an executive certificate in home modification from the Andrus Gerontology Center at the University of Southern California, a bachelor's degree in business administration from Averett College in Virginia, and an associate of arts degree from Simon's Rock College in Massachusetts. Chris was chosen as the 2020 CAPS Designee of the Year. Chris is an expert on using universal design principles to build and remodel homes to help seniors age in place. He has more than 38 years of experience in the residential construction industry.
