This Studio session examines how AI is being used to support both creative and operational work in the interior design process. Through real-world examples, see how design teams use AI to generate controlled design visualizations, improve stakeholder alignment, and reduce time spent on repetitive administrative and operational tasks. The examples focus on practical and accessible AI tools that teams can apply within their own workflows. Office Hours: Following this session, you are invited to stick around to work one-on-one or in small groups with the speakers to explore AI design tools and best practices in more detail and get insights for your company.

Lizzie Ager is a forward-thinking strategist, design technologist, and interior design professional leading the charge in innovation and operational excellence at TRIO. With a background in hospitality and multifamily design, Lizzie brings a unique blend of creativity, technical acumen, and strategic foresight to her role as Innovation & Operations Strategist. At TRIO, Lizzie is responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s design technology initiatives, including artificial intelligence, 3D visualization, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). She manages the development of firmwide design standards and comprehensive training programs that ensure quality and consistency across all projects. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of the design process and a commitment to improving how design teams work—from conceptual thinking to final execution. Through process development, mentorship, and an eye on emerging tools and trends, Lizzie continues to push boundaries, ensuring TRIO remains a leader in innovation within the interior design industry. Lizzie earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado School of Architecture and brings over 12 years of experience in the industry to TRIO. She is passionate about leveraging technology not just to enhance efficiency, but to elevate design, inspire TRIO’s partners, and create spaces that resonate deeply.
