Rachel Johnson joined The NRP Group in 2010 as an Asset Manager and was promoted to Chief Information Officer in 2012. In 2022, she was elevated to Principal and Executive Team Member, reflecting her role as a strategic leader shaping NRP’s long-term growth and operational scalability. Technology innovation under Johnson’s leadership has been a key contributor to this growth. During her tenure, The NRP Group has consistently ranked among the Top 10 largest developers and builders in the U.S. and has become a national leader delivering both affordable and market-rate housing at scale. Johnson has led multiple enterprise-wide transformations, including modernization of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, implementation of advanced data and analytics platforms, digitization of development, construction, and property management workflows, and integration of best-in-class enterprise applications. More recently, her focus has centered on artificial intelligence strategy, automation of knowledge-intensive workflows, secure data access, and enterprise cybersecurity.

Gillian Sowray has spent 17 years bringing products to market across construction, climate tech, and software - scaling teams and launching solutions from startups to enterprise. She's presented at SXSW, RE+, and the 2025 International Builders' Show, where her company Fordje was named runner-up for Best New Startup. Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of Fordje, Gillian is tackling one of construction's most persistent bottlenecks: the code complexity that delays projects and drives up costs. Fordje's AI-powered platform lets builders get code right the first time, eliminating the rework and delays that come from discovering requirements too late. Gillian holds an MBA and M.S. in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree from Boston University.
