Myles Cardenas has a passion for real estate, workforce development, community, and helping people, and is currently a Land Planning and Development Manager at Taylor Morrison in Atlanta, GA. Myles was previously a Sr. Land Development Manager and a Construction Manager at McKinley Homes, and is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management of Kennesaw State University, where he was a member of the First-Place team in the Four-Year NAHB Student Competition in 2017. In addition, Myles has been heavily involved with Workforce Development initiatives of the National Association of Home Builders and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, focusing on influencing the next generation of the residential construction industry at the high school and college levels. He has used his experience in Development and Construction to build relationships, build synergy amongst all project teams, working with local governments, and helping people build their dream home.

Stephanie Heuman

Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management at Louisiana State University

As an Industry professional with over 25 years of Construction Management field experience and 16 years in the University classroom, Stephanie can honestly bring her experiences to students in the classroom. She has built and managed both residential and commercial projects and supervised the construction of over 2000 single-family homes in her career. She started in purchasing and moved to the field as a superintendent and worked in various capacities from Project Manager to Senior Estimator and Director of Operations for some of the largest homebuilders in the country. Stephanie is a full-time instructor and the current Undergraduate Coordinator for the Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management at Louisiana State University. She is the Faculty Lead for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Student Competition. She is also a Certified Online Instructor and facilitates seven (7) online courses in various modules throughout the year.
