As the Vice President of Customer Success for the Residential Home Construction Division at ECI, Monica is focused on supporting our clients by identifying the resources and support they need to be successful in meeting their goals using technology. Prior to coming to ECI, Monica worked as CEO at Builder Partnerships and oversaw the relationship management team to grow membership and increase participation and return for members. Currently, Monica participates on several NAHB Committees and serves as an Ambassador with the She Built Foundation. She was recognized with the first Professional Builder’s 40 Under 40 class in 2011 and most recently received recognition as the 2023 NAHB Woman of the Year. Lisa Cortez has been with Cornerstone Home Lending, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, for eight years. She serves as a Mortgage Loan Originator and National Director of Builder Outreach, where she acts as an ambassador and liaison between Cornerstone and the residential home building industry. In this role, Lisa works with local, state, and national builder associations, including NAHB, to support advocacy efforts and strengthen industry relationships. She currently serves on NAHB’s Associate Members Committee and is the Chair of the Leadership and Recognition Subcommittee. She also serves as Vice Chair of the North Carolina HBA Professional Women in Building, is a member of the Executive Board for the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte, has served as an NAHB PWB Trustee, and has chaired Professional Women in Building at her local council. Lisa is also the Co-Founder of Women Building America, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting the residential construction industry by addressing critical labor shortages and introducing high school girls to the many career opportunities available in building and construction. Through hands-on construction camps, Women Building America connects young women with industry professionals, builds confidence, and helps create awareness of skilled trades and construction-related career paths.
